Our process

1. Initial discussion Understanding scope, site, and objectives. 2. Concept design Practical layouts designed with construction in mind. 3. Design & documentation Clear, coordinated drawings prepared for consent and build. 4. Construction support Available during approvals and construction as required.

1. Initial Meeting

Every project starts with a conversation.
We take the time to understand the project scope, site conditions, budget expectations, and timeframe, so we can align and plan the best way forward from the outset.

2. Fee Proposal

Following the initial meeting The Fee proposal is drafted and presented, the proposal is based on the scope, complexity and scale of the project and ensures we are aligned with our client from the beginning.

3. Concept Design

We develop initial layouts and design ideas with buildability in mind. This stage focuses on:

  • Practical layouts
  • Site response
  • Early coordination considerations

The aim is a clear, workable concept that supports both consent and construction. Concept / Preliminary design drawings are developed, including scaled plans, elevations and renders that clearly describe the overall arrangement. Room layouts are tested with furniture and built‑in cabinetry to confirm functionality and flow.

4. Detailed Design & Documentation

Clear, compliant documentation is prepared for consent and construction.
Working with Consultants detailed Drawings  and detailing are produced with both council requirements and site use in mind, helping reduce RFIs, rework, and delays.

Optional Process

Landscape Design - After Consent Approval

Landscape design is developed in coordination with the building design to ensure outdoor areas are practical, well connected, and buildable.  The design clearly shows how exterior spaces relate to the building and site, supporting coordination with consent and on‑site works.

Interior Design - After Consent Approval

Interior design is developed to support both the overall architectural intent and the practical use of spaces.  Interior elements are developed to provide clarity around spatial relationships, finishes, and detailing, supporting informed decision‑making and clear documentation for consent and construction.

Construction Support

We remain available during approvals and construction as required.
This may include responding to queries, clarifying documentation, and supporting the project as it moves through build. From tendering to Project management we can assist the build from design to handover.

Drone Footage

Aerial imagery is captured at agreed milestones to show site conditions, construction sequencing, and the relationship between the building and its surroundings.

This helps communicate progress clearly and can be used for coordination, reporting, and project records.  The footage provides an objective overview of the build as it develops, supporting project tracking, communication with clients and consultants, and post‑completion documentation.

Simple. Practical. Builder‑friendly.
